TOURNAMENT EVENTS
CHECK IN
- Team check in is Thursday starting at 7:00 am at Plants and Things Recreation Center. Please have at least one coach check in one hour before the first pool play game.
- Gate fee checks should be made out to ERYSA for $200.
- There will be concessions available all days and times there are games.
POOL PLAY GAMES
- Pool play games will start at 8:00am on Thursday.
GIFT EXCHANGE
- Gift exchange to be done following game one (1) of pool play. All teams are required participate for the fun of all teams. The tournament will not refund gifts or pins under any circumstances, period. A good suggestion for gift bags would be with stuff in your team colors at less than $15 in cost per bag.
- Some gift exchange ideas include: Do not fill a bag full of candy. Gift ideas include - cooling towels, softball toiletries bag, prime, sunflower seeds, squishy ball, gum, sunglasses, eye black, sunscreen, blow up bat.
TEAM PARADE
- Elk River Information Coming soon.
- The team parade will be held Friday at 7:00PM. Please do not bring candy or throw candy.
PIN TRADING
- Teams are invited to trade pins before and after the team parade.
RULES
- USA Softball rules apply. Teams will bat all players in attendance. If you reduce due to injury or ejection there will not be an out unless you reduce the lineup to below 9 players. If you reduce the lineup, the player may not return for the remainder of the game.
- Time limit is 75 minutes. No new inning will start after 75 minutes. If the home team is ahead when time expires, the game is over. If any team is ahead by more than 5 runs at any time when the time has expired, the game is over.
- TIE BREAKER RULE: The offensive team shall begin its turn at bat with the player who is scheduled to bat last in that respective half inning being placed on second base (e.g., if the number five batter is the leadoff batter, the number four batter in the batting order will be placed on second base. A substitute may be inserted for the runner).
- EXCEPTION: 10-Under Bronze Bracket, the inning will start with two (2) outs
- Each team will get three (3) pool play games and will be seeded into different double elimination divisions (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) based on performance in their pool. All teams will get 5 games.
- All games pool and bracket will have at least two (2) umpires.
- Five (5) runs allowed per team, per inning.
- Prior to the start of all games, the home team shall be decided by coin flip. Exception: In the championship game only, the undefeated team shall decide the home team. If there is more than one undefeated team or in the event of an "IF" game, the home team shall be decided by a coin toss.
- Courtest runners for the pitcher and catcher will be the last out.
- 10U C teams. Not playing dropped 3rd strike rule. Ball is live on a dropped 3rd strike. Following USA Softball rules.
ROSTERS
We are using online rosters. If you use a player that is not on your online roster, you run the risk of being protested and removed.
PICKUP PLAYER FORM
The only exception to using a non-rostered player is through a pickup player form. Each team is allowed to pick up three (3) players that are age eligible in this division.
