Info for Parents

At Elk River Youth Softball, we believe a great softball experience starts with strong partnerships between players, families, coaches, and our community.

Below you'll find important information to help your family prepare for the softball season.

Registration & Player Pool

Interested in Elk River Fastpitch? Start with our FREE Player Pool Registration!

Registration is open year-round and allows families to express interest in upcoming seasons without making a financial commitment or accepting a team placement.

Once teams are formed, families will receive information regarding season registration, fees, expectations, and next steps.

Player Fees & Financial Commitments

Player Pool registration is FREE.

Season-specific fees, tournament expenses, and other financial commitments may vary by age group and program. These details will be communicated before families commit to a team.

We strive to provide transparent information so families can make informed decisions about participation.

Volunteering

Elk River Youth Softball is a volunteer-driven organization, and our families play an important role in making each season successful!

Volunteer opportunities may include tournament support, field maintenance, concessions, and association events.

Volunteer requirements and any applicable deposits will be communicated during seasonal registration.

Fundraising

Fundraising helps support equipment, facilities, player development, coaching resources, and other association expenses.

Fundraising opportunities and any participation requirements will be communicated for each applicable season or program.

Parent & Player Communication

We use Crossbar to manage registration, team schedules, communication, and important updates.

Families are encouraged to keep their contact information current and download the Crossbar mobile app to stay connected throughout the season.

Financial Assistance

We believe financial circumstances shouldn't prevent young athletes from enjoying softball.

Families who need assistance are encouraged to explore our available scholarship opportunities.
