ERYSA Coaches Application

OPEN AND LIVE!!!!!!!!

APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FEB 16

Head Coach & Assistant Coach evaluations will take place in person at a location to be determined on the evening of Monday, Feb 23rd.

ERYSA is looking for coaches! Our program would be nothing with out the help from our parents/ past players and fans!

  • Depending on the season, we are looking for coaches beginning at the 6u level, all the way up to 18u. Each team needs at a minimum, a head coach and an assistant coach.

Your reasons for coaching may be as varied as the abilities of the girls on your team: you love the game, you like working with kids, you want to give back to the community, or you simply want to spend some quality time with your daughter. Whatever the reason, the ERYSA board thanks you for making the commitment of time and energy to run a successful program.

Expectations for those applying to be a Coach

While you are a volunteer coach, you will also become the adult whom these children will learn from, look up to, and rely on. While you are the coach you are taking on the responsibility of looking after the kids emotionally, mentally, and physically.

  • Please make sure that while you are making a commitment that you take in the extra work this entails: attendance of at least 95% of practices, games, and tournaments.
  • Taking time outside of practice to plan out how the practice will run. This helps give the kids the attention while they are working on skills that they need, rather than trying to plan out during practice what you want them to do next.
  • When kids are working on skills pay attention to their form, they don't know if they are doing it right if they are never corrected.

Thank you for applying to be a coach at ERYSA

Without volunteer coaches our program would cease to exist. Your interest in helping developing out girls and our program is appreciated. We look forward to connecting with you soon.
